Love Actually

Downing Street Press Pass

Stock #10338

A Downing Street Press Pass used in Richard Curtis' romantic comedy Love Actually.

The film shows the interconnected lives of a host of characters – from troubled writer Jamie (Colin Firth) to Prime Minister David Spender (Hugh Grant) – as they try and find love in modern-day London and beyond.

Passes were worn by members of the press as they eagerly waited for the arrival of the newly elected Prime Minister David outside number ten.

Printed on white card, the item features the text ‘Press Pass, Downing Street Pass’, a serial number and the ‘Royal’ stamp printed in red in the corner. The press pass is laminated and features a pocket clip at the top, allowing the pass to be attached to the actors’ costume.

The pass displays signs of wear including discolouration on the laminate and minor scratches. The piece remains in very good production used condition.
