A master reference dinosaur maquette used by the art department for Richard Franklin’s 1999 adventure movie Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World.

A group of adventurers go on an expedition to the Amazon rainforest where they discover a lost world of dinosaurs.

This incredibly detailed piece was used by the art department during production to work from when creating the CGI dinosaurs seen in the film. Made from resin, this dinosaur resembles a triceratops and is hand painted to look as realistic as possible, using greens, greys, and yellows. Other details include its vivid red eyes, beaked mouth and elaborate horns coming from its neck frill. It comes on a black metal stand that would have stood on the desk in the workshop.

The maquette has some wear from age and use. It is missing its main horn and several horns from its neck frill. Overall it remains in a very good condition.
