Bilbo Baggins' (Sir Ian Holm) pipe from Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring with a birthday card from Jackson. Bilbo Baggins, like most Hobbits, enjoyed smoking pipe-weed while he relaxed at his home, Bag End, in the Shire. Bilbo smoked from his pipe while he sat with Gandalf the Grey (Sir Ian McKellen) on a hill overlooking the Shire before Bilbo's 111th birthday party, and the pipe was amongst the possessions he packed before leaving the Shire. Considered one of the greatest fantasy films ever created, The Fellowship of the Ring won four Academy Awards® and an additional 94 awards from other organisations.

Created by the artists at Weta Workshop in New Zealand, this pipe was originally gifted from director Peter Jackson to Academy Award®-winning animation supervisor Randall William Cook during production for Cook's 50th birthday. Also included is Planet of the Apes-themed birthday card from Jackson with the hand-written note "Happy Birthday, Randy!! Another 61 years to go until you reach the grand old age of Eleventy-One, and Bilbo has made a 'donation' to help you get there..enjoy! Love Peter & Fran." The end of the pipe was intentionally blackened by production to appear well-used and it exhibits minor scuffing from handling. Dimensions: (largest) 36 cm x 5.25 cm x 5.25 cm (14" x 2" x 2")
