Danny Dietz's (Emile Hirsch) Hero Rubber M4A1 Carbine Rifle from Peter Berg's 2014 war drama, Lone Survivor. Tasked with capturing or killing the notorious Taliban leader, Ahmad Shah, SEAL Team 10 encounters more than they bargained for during their dangerous mission, Operation Red Wings. This prop rifle can be screen matched as the one used by Dietz due to sight specific paintwork in the camouflage pattern.
Made from foam rubber, this prop weapon has been painted in a desert camouflage color. Cast from an actual Colt M4A1 Carbine, this firearm includes original factory markings embedded on the side of the weapon. This item features numerous accessories built into the firearm including an M203 grenade launcher, AN/PEQ-2 IR Designator and a Trijicon ACOG sight. Stunt weapons such as this piece are commonly used for distance shots when a hero piece is not needed; they are lighter and therefore easier for the actors to handle. They are also used for stunt sequences in which the actor could possibly fall on the prop and injure themselves if they were holding the hero version.
Dietz's rifle features minor wear from production use, including some paint chipping, and shows adhesive applied to small breaks in the rubber, however it remains in overall very good condition.
The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
