This is one of the most recognizable pieces of movie poster art from the 1960s. Although this example is folded, it will be shipped rolled. It shows some bleed-through on the front due to pieces of masking and cellophane tape that were applied to the back to stabilize tears and wear at the corners, at the ends of the folds in the borders, and along the cross folds. This unrestored piece also exhibits corner pinholes, sporadic tiny stains, several tiny edge tears, and creases of varying sizes in the green area at the bottom. Overall, this poster is a prime candidate for linen-backing.

Stanley Kubrick's controversial adaptation of Vladimir Nabokov's 1955 novel, starring James Mason as Humbert Humbert, a college professor who becomes obsessed with teenage girl Dolores Haze (14-year-old Sue Lyon). The film marks the first collaboration between Kubrick and Peter Sellers (in the dual role of Clare Quilty/Dr Zempf), who went on to star in Kubrick's next picture, Dr Strangelove.
