A Daily Planet newspaper cover headlined "Superman Defeated" from Deborah Joy LeVine's Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. In the Season 2 episode "Metallo," John "Johnny" Corben (Scott Valentine) - the untrustworthy new boyfriend of Lois Lane's (Teri Hatcher) sister Lucy (Roxana Zal) - defeated Superman (Dean Cain) after being turned into a Kryptonite-powered cyborg known as Metallo.

This custom-made, color-printed Daily Planet cover is labeled as Volume 327, Issue No. 18 and headlined "Superman Defeated: Cops Dub Suspect 'Metallo'" alongside two stills from the episode. Following production, it was mounted to blue matte paper for display. The cover exhibits liquid staining along its edges. Dimensions: 25" x 19" (63.5 cm x 48.25 cm)
