Clark Kent's (Dean Cain) Superman costume from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. An alien from the planet Krypton who lived under a secret identity, Kent explored his romantic relationship with reporter Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher) as himself and as his costumed alter ego, Superman. In the Season 3 Episode 3, "Contact," Superman wore a belt with similar stitched details.

Inspired by Superman's modern origin established by writer John Byrne, the television series focused on Kent as the main personality with Superman as the alter-ego. It won a Saturn Award® in 1994 for Best Genre Television Series.

This costume consists of a nylon-blend cape with a large embroidered gold-color "S" symbol on the back; a royal blue elastane unitard with an embroidered "S" symbol on the chest; a pull-on elastane padded briefs with an attached elastane belt; cotton socks; and leather boots. The interior of the briefs are hand-marked "New Dean #!" and the boots are marked "96-97." This lot exhibits discoloration throughout, most notably on the bodysuit, due to light exposure.
