A Desert Guard Rifle Display from the 1977 television series, Logan's Run. This futuristic prop firearm comes from the episode, Turnabout, in which Logan (Greggory Harrison) and the rest of the runners are arrested for trespassing and sentenced to death. Wielded by the Desert Dwellers, this rifle is made almost entirely from wood that has been painted blue, and includes metal facing on the side. Attached to the stock and barrel is an adjustable nylon strap allowing the piece to be easily worn. The barrel also has slots for 6 metal beams, however one is missing on the side. This item comes presented in a custom built opening wood display frame and is backed by a laser cut mount board with the movie logo. Due to production use and age, this item features some wear and missing pieces, including the rifle's scope, however it remains in otherwise good condition.
