This lot includes a production script and two crew lists from Richard Donner's "Lethal Weapon 2." The script underwent extensive revisions, with a full rewrite by Jeffrey Boam after the original draft, titled "Play Dirty," by Shane Black and Warren Murphy, was considered too dark. The lot consists of a 114-page early draft script, which notes that the opening police chase scene is "still to be written" on the first page. Each page of the script is stamped "103-109" in blue ink, and it begins with page "10" to mark the starting point for the car chase scene. The script is brad-bound and shows discoloration and creased edges from handling. Additionally, there are two "Staff and Crew Lists" dated December 22, 1988, printed on yellow paper with the film title and production #135128 at the top. The crew lists, one of which is brad-bound and the other is stapled in the upper left corner, exhibit bending.
