A production script and a pair of crew lists from Richard Donner's Lethal Weapon 2. The script for this film underwent extensive revisions, including a full rewrite by Jeffrey Boam after Shane Black and Warren Murphy's original draft, titled Play Dirty, was deemed too dark.
This lot consists of a 114-page white early draft script as the opening police chase scene is noted as "still to be written" along the first page; and two staff and crew lists both dated December 22, 1988 and printed on yellow paper with the film title and production #135128. Each page of the script is stamped "103-109" in blue ink and it starts on "10" to allocate a starting point for the car chase scene. This lot exhibits discoloration on the script, creased edges from handling, and bending in the crew lists. Dimensions: (largest) 8.5" x 11" x 1" (21.75 cm x 28 cm x 2.75 cm)
