Javert's (Russell Crowe) inspector costume from Tom Hooper's Academy Award-winning musical drama Les Miserables. Javert wore his inspector uniform while witnessing the strength of Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman), and suspecting him to be a parole-violating ex-prisoner.

The costume comprises a long double-breasted wax coat; a pair of beige suede trousers with white braces and lycra stirrups; a blue woollen waistcoat; and a pair of black leather gloves. The waistcoat and trousers feature labels with the word "double" written in black and the gloves have "cosprop" written on the inside. The costume displays signs of wear, including stains and marks, and the trousers are split at the front seam beneath the zip.
