Javert's Inspector uniform from Tom Hooper's Academy Award®-winning musical drama Les Miserables. Javert (Russell Crowe) wore his Inspector's uniform when witnessing the strength of Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) and suspecting his identity as an ex-prisoner who had broken parole.

The costume consists of a wax coat with brass buttons, beige suede trousers with nylon braces, a woollen waistcoat also possessing brass buttons, and a pair of black leather gloves. The waistcoat and trousers feature labels with 'double' handwritten in black ink. The collar of the waistcoat is embroidered with a fleur-de-lis pattern.

The production has intentionally dirtied the wax coat.
