A Minotaur skull with half horn from creator Noah Hawley's sci-fi-drama television series Legion. Diagnosed and institutionalized as a schizophrenic, David Haller (Dan Stevens) soon learns that his alleged mental illness isn't what it seems.
The minotaurs made their defining appearance in the 18th chapter in season two, when Dr. Melanie Bird (Jean Smart) speaks to a low growling minotaur who, upon her command to leave, fully transforms into its murderous state. The minotaur head mask is made of resin and is sculpted to appear skull-like through the painting and distressing on the piece. The mask has been engineered to sit on top of the actor's head and has visibility through the lower jaw to help give the actor the appearance of a larger stature. The mask interior is a fiberglass under-skull that is lined with felt fabric and Velcro for secure positioning and the "skin" pieces of the mask are made from rubber latex.
This mask shows some wear to rubber latex and one of the horns is loose from the skull, however, it remains in otherwise great condition.
