From David Lean's Best Picture-winning Academy Award drama comes this spectacular "Style A" one sheet, folded and in outstanding condition. This is the poster to acquire for collectors seeking an unbacked example in near-flawless condition.

For Omar Sharif's mirage entrance, cinematographer Freddie Young used a custom 482mm Panavision lens built solely for the shot. Still kept by Panavision, it's famously known among cinematographers as the "David Lean lens" and has never been used again. Nearly all movement in the film flows from left to right, a deliberate choice by Sir David Lean to underscore the story's theme of a journey.
