A strike spear from Edward Zwick's The Last Samurai. Nathan Algren (Tom Cruise) was hired by Japan's Emperor to train its army, only to find himself changed by his encounters with the Samurai, ultimately becoming torn between different eras, worlds, and cultures.

This lot consists of one hard rubber spear molded in black, cinnabar red, and silver-color to resemble wood and metal. The spear features an engraved plaque on its neck and engraved ridges, as well as a curved, ridged, rocket-shaped tip, all in cinnabar red color against the black of the spear body. The blade is a long, slender, double-sided blade with a curved point. The lot exhibits nicks, surface wear, and fading. Dimensions: (largest) 94" x 2.5" x 2.5" (238.75 cm x 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm)
