A clapperboard from Tony Scott’s 1991 action comedy The Last Boy Scout.

A disgraced private detective’s (Bruce Willis) client is killed, prompting him to team up with her boyfriend (Damon Wayans) and uncover political corruption, as well as corruption in professional American football.

This iconic symbol of the movie in duster is made of plastic, with a wooden clapper. The board is predominantly black and white and features information about the shoot that day. It is dated 8/12/91 and is labelled ‘Scene X112A Take 3’. Tony Scott and Ward Russell, director and cinematographer respectively, are also named on the board.

The board shows some wear from production use and age. During the production the lettering was reapplied, and the original yellow letters can be seen under the black ones. There are remnants of tape that was applied to the board, most notably on the reverse. The paint on the clapper has become faded, and the clapper itself can be slid off the board. Overall it is in a good condition.
