Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

SIMON Robot Attacking Blade

Stock #26896

A Robot blade 'body-part' used in the production of the 2001 computer game Adventure fantasy: Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. This is a vicious looking attacking blade section of the S.I.M.O.N. Robot that Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) battles at the beginning of the movie and manages - with her great strength - to force the blade back on itself and get an advantage over the hulking beast.

This prop-piece is made of a hardened resin which has been painted black and weathered and displays metal screws. There is a large piece of black tacky residue present on the 'body' and a silver effect connector at the blade wheel end. The 'wheel' is constructed from wood and painted matt black with silver edged paint to the fabricated blades. A rusted allen key screw remains from where the device would of been attached to the wheel within the movie, in order to make it spin. Due to high use during the production a small part of the faux blade has some little edges missing, however this only seems to lend itself to the look of this great prop. A great conversation piece which has been intentionally battle damaged, this 'body part' measures 33cm x 15cm (13” x 5.9”).

Item size - 12.6" x 5.91" x 3.54" (32cm x 15cm x 9cm)
