A prop P11 pistol used in the 2003 sequel to the smash hit action film, Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life. Tasked by MI6 to find Pandora’s Box before a deadly bioterrorist, Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) must once again save the world from a pending apocalypse.
This pistol was used for the scenes in the Luna Temple as Lara sought to secure the orb from the submerged ruins before being interrupted by men working for crime lord Chen Lo (Simon Yam). This particular pistol is based on the P11 underwater pistol made by Heckler & Koch and would have been used for the underwater firing sequences. As each P11 is made especially by H&K and needs to be sent to the company for reloading, blank-firing versions of the weapon do not exist. This hero version of the weapon is made of resin with intricately detailed barrels and grips. Cables running from the grip to the pyrotechnics within the barrels are still present. The piece is finished in metallic silver and black paint with red paint used on the safety.

Well used on the production, the pistol shows some wear, with some damage to the paint finish through use. Besides these minor flaws, however, the pistol remains in a good production used condition, and comes presented in a stunning bespoke display featuring a laser-cut mount board with the film’s logo, stills from the film and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece.

The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
