A hero Winchester riding rifle used in the high octane action movie Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. Tasked by MI6 to find Pandora’s Box before a deadly bioterrorist, Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) must once again save the world from a pending apocalypse.
This stunning piece was used by Lara Croft in the horseback target practice sequence at the start of the film, with this weapon used for scenes in which a live-firing example was required. Only two of these custom hero weapons were made for use on the production. Based on a Winchester 1892 “Saddle Ring” carbine, the firearm had custom alterations applied to the hooped cocking lever below the trigger, making it bigger and easier to cock, as well as being detailed as a Croft family heirloom by having a brass engraved plaque reading ‘1st Prize Lord Croft’.

The weapon was sympathetically deactivated after use on the production, with the weapon retaining its cocking action and a functional trigger. Fully deactivated to UK Proof House standards, this piece can be purchased by customers in the UK.
This striking weapon is in excellent condition with only a few minor scratches to the beautiful woodwork which were from production use and is supplied with a UK certificate of deactivation.
