Lara Croft’s (Angelina Jolie) Winchester carbine from Jan de Bont’s 2003 video game adaptation Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life.

Tasked by MI6 to find Pandora’s Box before a deadly bioterrorist, Lara must once again save the world from impending apocalypse.

This rifle and others like it were used for the sequence in which Lara practised target shooting on horseback as an MI6 helicopter flew overhead. Made of biscuit foam with a rubber skin, the weapon features a disc bearing the words “1st Prize Lord Croft” on the left side, while the weapon has been realistically painted to replicate the look of blued steel and dark red wood on the stock.

The rifle has damage to the hammer area and some of the paint has cracked and degraded through use and time spent in storage. However, despite this wear, the piece remains in a good production-used condition, measuring 86cm (34”) in length.

The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
