An original production cel of Tramp from Walt Disney's Lady and the Tramp, autographed by legendary animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, two of Walt Disney's famed Nine Old Men.

Lady and the Tramp was a landmark film in Disney's golden age: the studio's first animated feature shot in CinemaScope, a widescreen format that allowed for sweeping, cinematic storytelling. It's beloved for its charm, heart, and groundbreaking animation, including unforgettable sequences like the iconic "Bella Notte" spaghetti scene.

This is a rare moment with terrific characterisation, showing the playful, mischievous energy that made him such an enduring favourite. It's presented on a printed background, beautifully setting the scene.

Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston were central to the film's success. Frank Thomas animated some of Tramp's most memorable scenes, perfectly balancing mischief with heart, while Ollie Johnston was key in shaping Lady's gentle, expressive personality. Together, they helped craft the film's emotional core, blending humour, romance, and pathos with masterful nuance.

Both animators were famously supportive of the animation community, often signing pieces they were personally involved in, making their autographs on this cel especially meaningful. Action cels like this, with great character expression and movement, are rare survivors from the era and carry tremendous historical and collector value.
