These are Nite Owl case files from the 1997 detective thriller LA Confidential. While investigating the Nite Owl murders, the LA police force bring in the usual suspects. There are three case files, in brown folders, all of which say Los Angeles Police Department and have logs on the front with signatures and tags on the top. Two are criminal records for "Collins, Raymond" and "Jones, Tyler," both of which feature pictures of the suspect and information on past arrests, and Jones' file contains a finger-print board as well. The third folder is titled "Ballistics Report: R, Pinker" and contains Nite Owl case information with bullet casing matchups. It also has a record for a woman named Julie Beattie-Iiams, who was actually a member of the art department for the film. These pieces are in excellent condition with intentional distressing to match the look of the production.
