A Calvert DeForest-autographed bowling pin with a promotional bowling pin and Kingpin bowling ball gift from Bobby and Peter Farrelly's Kingpin. Former bowling professional Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson) mentored Amish farmer and bowler Ishmael Boorg (Randy Quaid) so they could compete in the Reno Open Bowling Tournament. Bowling pins filled the pin decks of the Reno National Bowling Stadium, where Roy and Ishmael competed against Ernie McCracken (Bill Murray) for the bowling championship.
This lot originates from Planet Hollywood. It consists of two wooden bowling pins coated in nylon and features painted details across the neck and belly, as well as a 12-pound weighted Brunswick Cosmic Bowling bowling ball - serial number FJB8344 - featuring "Kingpin" engraved into the material with a clear vinyl "Special Thanks" Planet Hollywood sticker dated 1996. One bowling pin features the autograph of Calvert DeForest in ink from a Planet Hollywood event, and the other bowling pin features a clear vinyl "Special Thanks" Planet Hollywood sticker dated 1996.
