Allan Quatermain's (Richard Chamberlain) bone handle dagger from the production of J. Lee Thompson’s 1985 adventure comedy King Solomon’s Mines.

Allan Quatermain is a fortune hunter who teams up with the resourceful Jesse Huston (Sharon Stone) to find her father, who is lost in the wilds of 1900s Africa.

This bone handle dagger was made for the production and is carried on Quatermain’s belt throughout the film. He uses it several times in the film, including when he uses it to prise open a sarcophagus to reveal a murdered man.

Made from steel with a hardened plastic handle made to imitate bone, the dagger has some wear from production use and age. The blade has darkened over the years and has some rusting, while the handle has some minor cracks. The piece has some other scuffs and scratches but remains in an otherwise excellent condition.
