King Arthur

Galahad's (Hugh Dancy) Stunt Sword

Stock #22480

Galahad's (Hugh Darcy) stunt sword used in the 2004 Antoine Fuqua film King Arthur. The knight can often be seen with his sword hung on the side of his saddle as he rides on his horse, following Arthur on their noble quests. The sword is made entirely of rubber with a rigid internal support, and has been painted to resemble metal and wood. The long wide blade is a combination of black and silver, running up to a stubby t-bar hilt, with a handle decorated to look like wood and topped with a semicircular silver pommel. The swords is in a well used condition from it's use in the epic battle sequences when it was too dangerous or cumbersome to use the hero metal version, and still has remnants of prop blood on the blade. It measures 98cm (38.5”) long and a great weapon from the movie.
