King Arthur
Galahad (Hugh Dancy) Stunt Shield
Stock #17829
Galahad’s (Hugh Dancy) stunt shield from Antoine Fuqua’s 2004 action adventure adaptation King Arthur. A demystified take on the tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
Galahad held his shield while riding his horse with it strapped to the side and during the epic battles throughout the movie. The shield is made from fibreglass and the front is moulded and painted red to look like leather with a dark-grey metal boss in the centre, and also has the 'blades' that protrude out from the edges used for slashing the enemy. The rear is covered in padded canvass for the safety of the actor, with leather straps and a leather sheath for his sword. The shield shows chipping and paint wear from use in the production but it remains in an otherwise very good condition.
Materials: Resin, Fiberglass, Leather, Man-Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals.
