Mother Russia's (Olga Kurkulina) hero machete and SFX blades from Jeff Wadlow's action superhero sequel Kick-Ass 2.
The villainous Mother Russia used her machete as her primary weapon throughout the film, using it to skewer Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey). The hero machete has a knuckleduster-style grip with a serrated back edge and a long blade. It is made of aluminium, and the grip is made of resin and wood. The loosely translated phrase "The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away" is engraved into the sword's right-hand side, with eight notches for Mother Russia's past kills.
Also included in the lot are two SFX blades: one is aluminium and has the tip removed, which allows it to give the impression of being plunged into flesh; the other is steel, is welded to a metal plate, and was likely used to be plunged through a solid object during the production. All of the blades have wear from production use, including the remnants of stage blood on the steel blade. Dimensions (hero machete): 57 cm x 2.5 cm x 8.5 cm (22.5" x 1" x 3.25")
