Dr. Alan Grant's (Sam Neill) handkerchief from Colin Trevorrow's sci-fi action-adventure sequel Jurassic World Dominion. Grant carried his handkerchief while he worked at a paleontological dig site in Utah where he was reunited with Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern).

This lot comes from Sam Neill's personal collection and will benefit UNICEF's Children's Charity. This red handkerchief is made of cotton and features elaborate tan-color patterns printed throughout. It exhibits minimal wear, including light edge wear. Dimensions: 20" x 19" x 0.25" (51 cm x 48.5 cm x 0.75 cm)

Actor Nigel "Sam" Neill was born on September 14, 1947 in Omagh, Northern Ireland. After moving to New Zealand in 1954, Neill studied English literature, and adopted the name "Sam" while fighting a childhood stutter. In 1971, he appeared in his first film as Sam Neill, The City of No, before receiving a starring role as the beleaguered Smith in Roger Donaldson's political thriller Sleeping Dogs. Often considered among the best New Zealand films of all time, it also landed Neill international notice as a potential new leading man.

After a break-out year in 1981, in which he appeared in both Andrzej Zulawski's horror classic Possession and as the grown Damien in Graham Baker's Omen III: Final Conflict, Neill established himself as a performer of unusual range in such landmark Hollywood films as The Hunt for Red October, The Jungle Book, and Event Horizon. But it was his role as Dr. Alan Grant in Steven Spielberg's epochal Jurassic Park which cemented his position amongst the most successful and best-regarded actors in history. Neill again portrayed the ornery but heroic Dr. Grant in two more films in the beloved mega-franchise, earning billions of dollars in box-office sales and the hearts of viewers around the world.

In celebration of his one-of-a-kind 50-plus-year career, Propstore is proud to present select Jurassic Park and Jurassic World lots from this master actor's personal archive to the public for the first time. Profits from the sales of lots in the Sam Neill Collection will benefit UNICEF UK. Having survived stage 3 T-cell lymphoma in 2022, Neill continues to star in films and series while running his Alexandra winery, Two Paddocks.
