A collection of multiple high-quality, and in some cases officially licensed, replicas of key props seen throughout the Jurassic Park franchise. In the classic film, cane-wielding Jurassic Park founder John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) took one of the park's Jeeps to introduce Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Alan Grant (Sam Neill), and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) to the dinosaurs he genetically engineered from an ancient mosquito suspended in amber.
This lot consists of the following replicas: light-up goggles built from green transparent fiberglass around a foam-padded plastic headset, painted in the striped color palette associated with Jurassic Park promotional materials and inset with LEDs around the lenses activated by rocker switches on opposite sides of the goggles; three dinosaur eggs; a park security officer's hat; a Jurassic Park-branded cap; a baby velociraptor toy; a velociraptor sound chamber; two velociraptor claws; a dinosaur tooth with a display; five printed park brochures; three Jurassic Park lab technician badges; two Jurassic Park park ranger badges; and a visitor's badge.
Also included is a Roman stone-finished replica of a dinosaur skull different in style from any seen in the Jurassic Park franchise. The skull originated from The Dinosaur Park, a dinosaur education museum in Texas and a Jurassic Park franchise replica and toy retailer, and features a slot on the back of the jaw for mounting to a display base. This lot exhibits mild pitting on the lens dials and unfinished edges to the goggles, minor cracks around the teeth and eye sockets on the skull from handling, and worn paper on the pamphlets. Dimensions: (largest) 19.75" x 10.75" x 22" (50.25 cm 27.5 cm x 56 cm)
Contains electronics; see electronics notice in the Buyer's Guide.
Estimate: $300 - 600
