A velociraptor front claw from Steven Spielberg's Academy Award®-winning sci-fi adventure Jurassic Park. Velociraptors used their claws to hunt the main characters after escaping their fortified pen and to eviscerate prey. This is one of the predators' front claws, used to great effect when opening doors during the climax of the film.

This resin claw is affixed to a section of foam latex forepaw, all hand-painted to look as realistic as possible. This claw would have been attached to the full forepaw of the animatronic velociraptor with a small intentional hole located within the exposed foam-latex edge for attaching a cable. There are signs of minor wear from production use, including small tears and flaking to the foam latex, notably on the underside. Dimensions: 15 cm x 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm (6" x 1¼" x 1¾")
