A printed creature notebook from Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi film Jurassic Park. Phil Tippett is credited as the film’s Dinosaur Supervisor, and produced stop-motion animatics for the dinosaur sequences, as well as supervised the CG animation. Tippett won the Oscar^® for Best Visual Effects for his work on this film at the 66th Academy Awards^®.

The binder is divided into sections for each dinosaur, each containing reports updating the production team on the status of the designs and the construction of the models and puppets. Also included are ILM miniature shot lists, effects shot list, contact list, memos, calendars, and scene breakdowns noting required EFX and style of puppet. Printed sketches of each dinosaur are included at the back of all dinosaur tabs. The binder is made of flexible plastic and shows an Amblin Entertainment sticker adhered to the front cover with ‘JURASSIC PARK CREATURE NOTEBOOK’ printed at the bottom. There are approximately 100 pages in this lot.

The lot shows minor wear due to production use and age, however the lot remains in very fine condition. Dimensions: 10” x 11 ½” x 1 ½” (25 cm x 29 cm x 4 cm)
