Hand-drawn and printed Brachiosaurus concept art and armature designs by Phil Tippett from Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi film Jurassic Park. Phil Tippett is credited as the film’s Dinosaur Supervisor, and produced stop-motion animatics for the dinosaur sequences, as well as supervised the CG animation. Tippett won the Oscar^® for Best Visual Effects for his work on this film at the 66th Academy Awards^®.

These eight pages feature artwork and designs on varying sizes of paper. The four larger illustrations consist of two pencil and ink illustrations with two matching dyeline prints. The largest drawings depict the head and neck of a brachiosaur and are labeled ‘GOMOBRACHIO HEAD & NECK’. The additional four pages are much smaller in size, and consist of hand-drawn armature designs for the go-motion Brachiosaurus puppet. The drawings are labeled ‘Brachiosaur’ and ‘Tippett Studio’.

The lot shows minor wear to the paper due to production use and age, and remains in good condition. Dimensions: (largest) 70” x 36” (178 cm x 92 cm)
