A distressed park staff Ford Explorer model miniature from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. This car model miniature was made for the behind-the-scenes animatic sequence, presented on YouTube, that combined storyboards and stop-motion animation to visualise the Tyrannosaurus Rex attack on the tour vehicles. The front of the vehicle is equipped with a plate that allowed the T-Rex to drag the Jeep during the sequence.

Phil Tippett, the film's Dinosaur Supervisor, produced stop-motion animatics for the dinosaur sequences and supervised the CG animation, earning him the Academy Award® for Best Visual Effects at the 66th Academy Awards®.

The item is made from a modified plastic Tonka car, and is painted green, red, and yellow with "Jurassic Park" on the side doors. The original Tonka roof was cut off and replaced with a custom plastic roof. The prop includes three spare wheels and a front grip, allowing puppeteers to control the vehicle during the sequence. One of the tires is made of foam and is made to appear flat and mangled by the T-Rex. The lot exhibits paint scratches and wear due to storage and intentional production distressing.
