A Tyrannosaurus Rex toenail from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. Freed from her containment pen after a power outage, the T-Rex attacked Tim (Joseph Mazzello) and Lex (Ariana Richards) while they toured their grandfather's dinosaur-filled theme park.

Created by key artist Rob Hinderstein and Stan Winston Studio for the animatronic T-Rex, this large, hollow resin buck of a nail is cast around a metal puppeteering rod and hand-painted in shades of brown, black, and gray. While not specifically screen-matchable, this lot was actively used during filming. It is textured with cracks and rivets throughout by production to appear organic. The rod exhibits rusting from age and exposure to water during the rainy T-Rex attack sequence, and the resin exhibits minor fractures. Dimensions: 15" x 7.5" x 8" (38.25 cm x 19 cm x 20.5 cm)
