A costume worn in the production of the sci-fi action movie Judge Dredd. Framed for the murder of a journalist, Judge John Dredd (Sylvester Stallone) is convicted to life in prison while his brother Rico (Armand Assante), presumed dead, takes control of the streets of Mega City One. Can Dredd reclaim his freedom, prove his innocence and save the city from the evil ex-Judge?
This costume was worn by one of Mega-City One's street judges as Rico wages his war against the city. The costume is comprised a full undersuit of tunic (44" chest, 34" waist) and trousers (32" waist, 30" inside leg) with braces, a belt set with faux-pouches and Lawgiver holster and a set of vacform plastic shoulder armour with a Judge Hunt badge at the left shoulder. The trousers feature a zip fly with the tunic fastened with a zip, press studs and ornamental clips on the chest. The tunic has also had sections removed for use in a special effects sequence, with the front plucked. The undersuit is tagged as "Ceremonial Judge" in the tunic and "Cadet 17" on the trousers with the name "Neil" written across both of the MBA Ltd costumier labels, indicating its use by stunt performer Neil Finnighan.

Well used on the production, the front and back of the tunic have been distressed for use in the film's frenetic action sequences, with the costume in an overall good production-used condition.
