A limited edition fine art photographic print featuring an image of John Lennon taken by photographer Bob Gruen in New York City in 1974. Gruen took this photo during the period Lennon referred to as his "Lost Weekend", an 18-month separation from Yoko Ono, and was when he recorded his fifth studio album, "Walls and Bridges". This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.

This giclee print is from a limited edition of 100. It is printed on archival 310gsm cotton based rag paper, hand-numbered "34/100", and signed by Gruen in pencil. It is also annotated "John Lennon NYC 1974" along the bottom. Dimensions: 59.5 cm x 42 cm (23.25" x 16.5")

Additional provenance:

This lot comes from the Rockarchive Collection, founded by acclaimed music photographer Jill Furmanovsky in 1998. Rockarchive now comprises an impressive collection of over 1000 images by more than 100 photographers and graphic designers, allowing fans and collectors to purchase limited-edition prints featuring music's most established artists. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Jill Furmanovsky.
