Family photos and ephemera from the legendary makeup artist John Chambers. This lot comes from the personal collection of John Chambers.

It consists of eight photo albums, with seven albums each placed within brown and gold-color textured protective boxes, replete with Polaroid color pictures and handwritten annotations; 265 Ektachrome transparency slides featuring handwritten annotations; a blue and black paper origami star; 25 loose photos; and multiple personal handwritten and typed correspondences circa 1930 to 1969. Ephemera exhibits edge wear, creasing, color fade, tears, rips and staining from use, age, and conveyance. Dimensions: (largest photo album) 16" x 10.5" x 16" (51 cm x 40.75 cm x 40.75 cm)
