Hand casts, molds, and photographs of ventriloquist Edgar Bergen and his signature dummy Charlie McCarthy. This set comes from the collection of legendary makeup artist John Chambers, who sculpted hand molds for Bergen's elaborate vaudevillian dummies before working extensively in classic film and television.

It consists of two rare, original plaster hand casts; four plaster hand molds applied with red tape; and four color-printed photos of Bergen, McCarthy, and the casts dated "11/7/55." Holes are punched in the centers of one cast and two molds, and each mold exhibits adhesive residue. Dimensions: (largest) 7" x 7" x 5" (18 cm x 18 cm x 12.75
