John Chambers' makeup appliances and ephemera from Don Taylor's scifi horror The Island of Dr. Moreau. Chambers oversaw makeup effects for Moreau's animal-human creatures.

This lot consists of an orange foam latex mask, unpainted resin horn castings, rubber latex gloves with hair; an unpainted foam latex appliance for Michael York's conversion; two dental appliances; brown foam latex ear pieces; blonde hair appliances in a tin container; a foam finger casting; two Virgin Islander magazine issues; and seven behind-the-scenes photos. The lot exhibits chipped paint, latex cracking and crinkling, and missing nails from gloves. Dimensions: (overall) 12" x 12" x 14" (30.5 cm x 30.5 cm x 35.5 cm)
