Three telegrams related to a leg injury sustained in New York by iconic American rockstar Jimi Hendrix. This lot comes from the collection of Patricia "Trixie" Sullivan, personal assistant to Mike Jeffery between 1966 and 1973.

The three paper telegrams, sent in December of 1968, inform the reader of Hendrix's leg injury and that he is unable to walk and forbidden from travelling and appearing in Utrecht, Netherlands, on the 28th of December. One telegram also explains that Hendrix is awaiting an X-ray.

This lot comes from the collection of Patricia "Trixie" Sullivan, personal assistant to Mike Jeffery between 1966 and 1973. Jeffery was responsible for developing and managing the career of Jimi Hendrix, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Animals, Soft Machine and others.
