A large collection of 35mm slides with some featuring iconic American rockstar Jimi Hendrix.

This lot comes from the collection of Patricia "Trixie" Sullivan, personal assistant to Mike Jeffery between 1966 and 1973.

These slides were taken by Sullivan between 1966 and the early 1970s. Some of the hundreds of slides in this collection depict Hendrix either performing or off-stage, enjoying life. The rest of the slides depict various subjects, including the Woodstock Festival, other live performances from unidentified acts, street photographs of strangers, vacation images, and landscapes from around the world. Some of the boxes feature handwritten annotations and labels in differing colours of ink. Dimensions (largest tape in box): 21.5 cm x 12 cm x 3.75 cm (8.5" x 4.75" x 1.5")

This lot comes from the collection of Patricia "Trixie" Sullivan, personal assistant to Mike Jeffery between 1966 and 1973. Jeffery was responsible for developing and managing the career of Jimi Hendrix, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Animals, Soft Machine and others.
