A psychedelic poster for a concert event by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, which took place on 10, 11 and 12 October 1968. As Hendrix's popularity increased, promoter Bill Graham decided to hold this event at the large capacity Winterland venue in San Francisco. The show also included Buddy Miles Express and Dino Valenti as support acts.

Designed by Victor Moscoso and Rick Griffin, this is a first printing of the BG-140 poster featuring a scarab beetle, one of Griffin's trademarks. The lot displays signs of creasing and pinholes from being previously displayed. Dimensions: 54.5 cm x 36 cm (21 1/2" x 14 1/4")
