2nd Unit Clapperboard

A 2nd unit clapperboard from the production of Lewis Teague's action-adventure romantic comedy The Jewel of the Nile.
This wooden clapperboard features the names of 2nd unit director Glenn Randall Jr. and 2nd unit director of photography Alexander Witt, hand-painted on the front beneath the film's title. Randall also served as the production's stunt coordinator, a role he also had on Raiders of the Lost Ark, Poltergeist, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and more.
The clapper stick has "Day/Ext" and "2nd Unit" handwritten on tape, and the slate is dated "July 2nd 1985" and labelled "D Camera". A sheet of paper is taped to the back of the clapperboard, upon which production notes and information is handwritten. The clapperboard exhibits wear from production use and age, most notably paint wear and grime. Dimensions: 11.5" x 15" x 0.5" (29.5 cm x 38 cm x 1.5 cm)
