A Javelin Pierced Creeper (Jonathan Breck) Mask from the 2003 horror film Jeepers Creepers 2. In this sequel, a school bus full of students is terrorized by The Creeper, until a man with a make-shift harpoon gun fires a javelin into the Creeper's forehead.
This mask was created so that a long pole could be attached to the forehead of The Creeper while the actor still had control of his facial expressions. The mask is made of foam latex and presented on a hard foam head stand. Inside the mask is a fiberglass helmet; attached to the front of the helmet, sticking out of the forehead, is a short metal pipe. The pipe is attached to the helmet for support, and a longer, detachable metal pole may be fitted onto the shorter pipe. The back of the mask saw some wear and tear due to set use, but the piece is in overall good condition: the foam latex is still soft to the touch. The piece is displayed on a black, wooden board. The entire display measures 22" x 18.5" x 17" (56cm x 47cm x 43cm), and the included pole is 37" (94cm) long.
