A production clapperboard from Joe Alves shark-infested thriller Jaws 3-D. Clapperboards were used to signal the beginning and ending of a shot to the cast, crew and production team; they also aided in organising takes for the post-production team.

The clapperboard comprises a translucent acrylic board featuring the film's title; a section for scene, take, lens, "convg", T-stop, effects; the Director's and Camera Operator J. Contner's names; the date "1[missing]-14-83" and "A Camera" beneath it. Along the top of the board is a wooden clapper featuring a metal hinge, the traditional black and white striped paint and a magnet to ensure a firm snap when the clapper is closed. Dimensions: 40.5 cm x 27 cm x 2 cm (16" x 101/2" x 3/4")
