Scarce in this format, this British bus stop poster is folded and shows pinholes, a vertical tear on the upper border stabilized on the back with tissue mending tape and scattered light perimeter creases that are unobtrusive. The artwork by Roger Kastel encompasses the majority of the poster

"Jaws," directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley's novel, follows a small-town police chief who joins a marine biologist and a shark hunter to stop a deadly great white. Filmed largely on the open ocean, its troubled production paid off, as it became the first true summer blockbuster and helped reshape modern Hollywood marketing and release strategies.
