This bright example was professionally linen-backed, with touch-up applied to select folds to address general wear. The names of the three leads have been touched-up and there is airbrushing in the right border at the end of the upper fold and in the upper border at the top of the vertical fold.

"Jaws," directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley's novel, follows a small-town police chief who joins a marine biologist and a shark hunter to stop a deadly great white. Filmed largely on the open ocean, its troubled production paid off, as it became the first true summer blockbuster and helped reshape modern Hollywood marketing and release strategies.
