A plumed Argonaut helmet from Don Chaffey's fantasy adventure Jason and the Argonauts. Argonauts under the command of Jason (Todd Armstrong) wore ornate plumed helmets while on their adventure.

The film is well-known for its groundbreaking stop-motion animation effects by the legendary Ray Harryhausen, and is considered a fantasy classic.

This brass helmet features a faux horsehair plume and hinged cheek guards. It has some discolouration and patches of verdigris.
