An Argonaut helmet, shield, spear, retractable sword and sheath from Don Chaffey's epic fantasy adventure Jason and the Argonauts. Jason's (Todd Armstrong) crew carried their weapons throughout the quest for the Golden Fleece, and shields decorated the side of their ship, the Argo.

This lot comprises a metal helmet with hinged cheek pieces which tie together under the chin; a metal shield featuring the painted image of a gryphon with a vine border; a long spear made of wood and metal; and a metal sword, which retracts partway into its hilt, and is accompanied by a metal sheath. The helmet is missing its plume and exhibits some denting, and there is minor wear on each of the items. Dimensions (spear): 252 cm x 10 cm x 4 cm (99.25" x 4" x 1.5")
