This lot will be auctioned on Saturday, November 5th. An SD Studios replica wrist dartgun from Lewis Gilbert's Bond film Moonraker. Bond (Roger Moore) used his dartgun to kill the villain Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale). S.D. Studios Ltd made this highly-polished aluminium replica. It is accompanied by 10 replica darts. A plaque states the replica is 136 of 5000 (although it is believed that much fewer than 5000 were constructed) and the entire lot is presented in a wooden display case with a combination lock and glass lid. Dimensions (box): 21.5 cm x 31.5 cm x 9.5 cm (8 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 3 3/4")

From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, "The Cars of the Stars" and "The Bond Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.
